Fleece Troubleshooting FAQUpdated 23 days ago
The stitching around the edge or armhole is unravelling, what should I do?
This happens sometimes but is easily remedied. There are a couple of options:
Option 1. Trim the loose thread to about 1/4" or so. Using a lighter or a match, very briefly get the thread tail near the flame to melt and seal the thread.
Option 2. Trim the loose thread close the garment and using clear nail polish, but a tiny dab on the end on the cut thread. (Like if you were stopping a run in tights/pantyhose)
The fleece seems to be pilling, what should I do?
This might sound weird, but you're probably putting the fleece on inside out. Our Stretch Fleeces are designed to have the chest seam on the outside for pet comfort. The outside of the fleece is brushed to prevent pilling but the inside can sometimes pill a little bit, like the inside of a sweatshirt.
We also advise that you do not use fabric softener when washing synthetic materials like our Fleeces, as it can encourage pilling.
